“We are facing the greatest technological revolution in the history of humanity” – Manel Sanromà, president of CIVICAI, on artificial intelligence

We interview Manel Sanromà, president of CIVICAI, to talk about the impact and consequences that artificial intelligence will have on society. Sanromà states that we are facing the greatest technological revolution in the history of humanity. In fact, he compares it to the discovery of fire or the creation of languages.

For this reason, Sanromà defends the creation of associations that bring together civil society and fight for artificial intelligence to develop ethically and for the common good. This is precisely the objective of CIVICAI, the organization that Sanromà chairs and that he himself founded in Catalonia.

At the beginning of the year, OBREAL and CIVICAI signed a collaboration agreement that Sanromà describes as unique. He states that “OBREAL, with its extensive experience in international relations, opens the door to transmit and extend the message about the importance of discussing the impact of artificial intelligence on society worldwide.”
