OBREAL and the Delegation of the Generalitat de Catalunya for the Southern Cone organize, on March 20 at 6pm (GMT-3), a cocktail-debate to foster dialogue between Europe and South America. To that end, we will address the relationship between University, Research and Knowledge Transfer in these regions. The event, which will take place at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Generalitat located in Buenos Aires, has the support of the Department of Foreign Action and European Union of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Representatives of European universities and technology-based companies of Argentine origin located in Barcelona will talk about practices and opportunities to promote the transfer of public-private knowledge focused on development. A dialogue between actors from Europe and South America that will stimulate the debate at the subsequent cocktail, which is scheduled to last until 20h30.

The Delegate of the Government of Catalonia for the Southern Cone, Josep Vives, and the director of the OBREAL office for South America, Anahí Astur, will kick off the event. Furthermore, we expect the attendance of members of educational institutions, leaders of Argentine companies based in Barcelona and political representatives, among others.
This event takes place one month after the inauguration of the OBREAL office for South America. An event that took place at the National University of San Martin, where our new office is located. From there, the OBREAL team works to continue promoting dialogue and interregional cooperation.
