OBREAL, within the framework of the SUSTurismo international cooperation project, is promoting a series of training courses in sustainable tourism for students from Cape Verde and Angola.

The results and experiences of these trainings were presented last November 29th at the III International Meeting of the SUSTusimo Project. At this meeting the project consortium reaffirmed the commitment to quality training, international collaboration between universities, companies and local communities, and the positive impact on the communities involved in sustainable tourism in Angola and Cape Verde.

In this sense, the results of the quality reports developed so far were presented. These tools have been key to evaluate and improve internal processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and beneficiaries’ expectations.

In addition, students from different backgrounds who have already participated in these trainings on sustainable tourism explained their experience. These testimonies served to discuss suggestions and lessons learned that will be used to strengthen future trainings.

Through initiatives such as this one, OBREAL strengthens higher education in Africa while contributing to the sustainable development of this continent. Two fundamental pillars of the organization’s vision and mission.
