UNCUYO launches a series of webinars on viticulture with the support of the European Commission in the framework of the VITA GLOBAL project

This series of webinars will be given by international exhibitors who will focus on wine marketing and sustainable economy. The first virtual meeting took place on June 25th at 11 am.

The role of the wine sector for the development of local agro-industry and tourism is central in provinces such as Mendoza and various regions of the country and the world. In this context, and in the framework of the project co-financed by the European Union VITAGLOBAL, UNCUYO organizes a cycle of international webinars, entitled ¨Economic Sustainabilty and Wine Marketing¨.

The cycle will count with the participation of experts from different wine regions of the world, being a meeting point between the academia and the productive sector, where the challenges of the sector, its insertion in the international markets and the role of the university institutions to promote its development will be discussed.

The first webinar, which took place on June 25, was entitled ¨ Academic – Industry Dialogues: The economic and social sustainability of the wine system and its influence on marketing¨. The speakers were Dr. Alejandro Gennari – FCA and Agronomist Rocio Navarro from the Trivento Winery.
