SUCCESS project study visit to the University of Novi Sad

From 14 to 16 June, the SUCCESS project held a meeting in Novi Sad, Serbia.

This meeting, held at the University of Novi Sad (partner of the SUCCESS project), started with a study visit to get to know the experience of the UNS and the relationship with industry, mixing presentations and visits to laboratories and industries. This first part of the meeting concluded with a general open discussion on how institutions need to change to facilitate cooperation between universities and industry in order to promote start-ups and entrepreneurship among students.

The second part of the meeting focused on a SUCCESS project meeting to discuss activities, documentation, sustainability and financial aspects.

About the SUCCESS project

The SUCCESS project aims to link universities and industry by improving the education system in the direction of entrepreneurship, creating new job opportunities and improving the exchange of practical knowledge from industry to educational institutions in order to ultimately reduce youth unemployment and stop the trend of active labour leaving our country. The first coordination meeting of this project was held on Thursday, 17 December 2020.

The project involves 16 partner universities, chambers of commerce, companies and development agencies from countries in the region and Europe.
