Strategy development and benchmarking workshop of HERESA

The HERESA project, coordinated by THENSA (the network of South African university of technology) and OBREAL Global met in Cape Town for an important strategy development and benchmarking workshop. Over the course of three days, the higher education reform experts from five partner universities (CPUT, DUT, UNIVEN, UWS, CUT) discussed and received feedback on their draft strategies for entrepreneurship education (EE), Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Competency Based Teaching and Learning (CBTL). Experts from partner institutions at TAMK (Tampere University of Applied Sciences) and MTU (Munster University of Technology, Ireland), both OBREAL Global members, as well as SAQA – The South African Qualifications Authority – provided support, advice and offered tools for change and risk management.
