OnlineHE, coordinated by Universitatea din Pitesti, Romania, is an Erasmus + Project funded under the Strategic Partnerships funding scheme. The aim of the project is to build the capacity of HE teaching staff, academics, learning designers, and teaching staff in integrating eLearning in the design and delivery of courses. It will also develop innovative quality resources for HE faculty members to support the adoption of eLearning in higher education and raise awareness on the need and value to integrate eLearning in HE in close cooperation with all stakeholders involved, including policy makers.
In the first 18 months of the project implementation, the consortium, composed of institutions from Romania, Cyprus, Serbia, Greece, Lithuania and OBREAL Global from Spain, have done a research at national level on the state of play of eLearning in the different countries. This was underpinned by national focus groups. The results led to the development of a Toolkit on how to adopt a strategy for eLearning in HE. In the second phase of the project a training program was developed and implemented by each of the partners. In the last phase of the project ONLINEHE will develop an eLearning platform and a MOOC as well as Policy and practice guidelines for integrating eLearning in Higher education.
OBREAL Global as member of this consortium participates in the different tasks related to the research and the development of the training program. More precisely, OBREAL Global is the lead institution for the dissemination activities of the project.
