OBREAL, the Association of African Universities, and the Mozambican Conselho Nacional de Avaliação de Qualidade do Ensino Superior (National Council for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (CNAQ) have organized, on behalf of the HAQAA3 Initiative, the first national policy visit to Mozambique.
The objective of these policy visits is to gather the contributions of relevant players in the definition, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of higher education policies. Specifically in reference to the relevance of African Credit Transfer System and the possibilities for its implementation in Mozambique.
Pablo Beneitone, a Higher Education policy expert at OBREAL, has participated in this first national policy visit held at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, in Maputo, Mozambique. A session that was opened by the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Mozambique, Dr. Edson da Graça Francisco Macuácua.
This session has been the first of 20 scheduled national consultations through which the HAQAA Initiative hopes to achieve a better implementation of the African Credit Transfer System.
