OBREAL Global is pleased to announce that together with the Latin American and Caribbean Space for Higher Education [ENLACES], we have built a joint work agenda that makes ENLACES an associate member of OBREAL Global.
On 25 January 2022, the OBREAL Global Board of Directors accepted the request of the ENLACES presidency to join the OBREAL Global partnership as an associate member. In this framework, it was agreed that both institutions will work on a joint agenda for 2022 and 2023 that will revolve around the following elements:
- Generation of data for the formulation of public policies inHigher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Open science, universities and the regional impact of scientific production.
- Promoting the inter-regional and South-South-North dimension inHigher Education.
The agenda, also approved by the ENLACES board of directors at its ordinary meeting in January 2022, was jointly presented at the General Conference of ENLACES – Latin American and Caribbean Higher Education Area – which took place in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, on 31 March and 1 April 2022.
