We contribute to defining the new framework of educational indicators for Africa

From 13 to 15 October 2025, Obreal took part in the Expert Meeting on the Finalisation of the Educational Indicators Manual for Africa, held in Abuja, Nigeria, and organised by the African Union Pan African Institute for Education for Development (AU-IPED) .

Obreal was represented by Project Manager Kibrome Haile, who joined education experts from across the continent to review and validate the manual, a key tool for monitoring progress in Africa’s education and skills agenda within the framework of Agenda 2063.

The meeting aimed to ensure that the document is technically sound, globally comparable, and aligned with the continent’s specific priorities, such as innovation, inclusion, and lifelong learning. Once completed, the manual will serve as a harmonized framework to guide Member States in tracking educational performance and strengthening data systems at both national and continental levels.

Through this participation, Obreal reaffirms its commitment to interregional cooperation and to supporting evidence-based education policies and planning.
