The online launch event will take place on February 7

OBREAL, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Association of African Universities, and Symbiosis International University will launch a Youth Incubator for Artificial Intelligence on February 7. The program is a five-year initiative to encourage university students to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges.

The Youth Incubator aims to connect AI, innovation and multilingualism, putting them at the service of global development. To do so, the partnership will issue a two-phase call for proposals in February to offer university students an opportunity to benefit from funding, mentorship and guidance from the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Association of African Universities, OBREAL, Symbiosis International University and leading technology companies.

With this initiative, OBREAL targets its core mission: the creation of multilingual, cooperative, and innovative solutions to common development challenges shared among different global regions.
