InfoPoint organised an hybrid event to present the results of HAQAA2

The HAQAA initiative, coordinated by OBREAL Global together with AAU, DAAD and ENQA, is an initiative created to support the development of a harmonised quality assurance and accreditation system at institutional, national, regional and continental Pan-African levels.

In addition to reviewing all the results of this initiative, the event aimed to stimulate a discussion with EU delegations and other stakeholders on this initiative, which is funded by the Commission of the European Union in the context of the Africa-EU Strategic Partnership.

The event was addressed by Deirdre Lennan and Claire Herrmann from INTPA A2 and DG EAC of the European Commission, Elizabeth Colucci, Director of Global Projects at OBREAL Global and lead coordinator of the HAQAA initiative, Olusola Oyewole, Secretary General of the Association of African Universities, Jorge Fringe from CNAQ Mozambique and Fatoumata Keita from the Université des Lettres et des Sciences Humaines de Bamako and participant of the HAQAA2 training on IQA.
