Obreal and THENSA Discuss Entrepreneurial Universities at UEED Africa Virtual Conference in the framework of the UniiCoCreate Project

Obreal, with member THENSA, was joined by partners of the UniiCoCreate project at the virtual conference of UEED Africa (Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa), for a virtual panel discussion on Entrepreneurial Universities.

The session marked the first public activity of the project, which is an important Erasmus+ Strand 3 Capacity Building for Higher Education project that involves ministries and universities from South Africa, Losotho, Eswatini and Namibia. The project is an extension of the previous project that THENSA and Obreal led – ‘HERESA’ – which enabled a network of higher education reform experts in universities of technology in South Africa.

UniiCoCreate is an important Obreal project in the SADC region, to which the SADC Secretariat is associated. It furthers the work and advocacy of the association regarding universities as motors for development.
