Course Description
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a methodology that connects professors and students from different countries to work collaboratively in the classroom, through the design of joint learning experiences between higher education institutions without the need for physical mobility. Originally developed by the SUNY COIL Center (State University of New York), it has been adopted by universities around the world as a key tool for internationalization at home.
In the CSUCA–Obreal COIL Course, you will learn how to design this type of collaborative experience and transform your teaching practice through international cooperation. The program offers an initial theoretical introduction to the fundamentals and principles of the COIL model, after which participants will form interdisciplinary groups to collaboratively design and implement an educational proposal based on this methodology.
