CAMINOS Consortium meeting in Buenos Aires

CAMINOS partners gathered in Buenos Aires at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education’s Science and Technology Secretariat on June 9th to discuss the collaboration opportunities between Latin-America and Europe in the framework of the programmes financed by the European Commission such as Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020.

CAMINOS is a Erasmus + Project coordinated by OBREAL. The project will develop a common mobility management model (defined by a Handbook) to this effect, premised upon and linking existing Latin American bi/multi-lateral mobility programmes.  CAMINOS reflects the interest to better promote ‘structured’ student and staff mobility.

On June 10th – 12th the latin american universities in the consortium had the chance to present, and discuss, the achievements and latest developments of the pilot projects that they have implemented in the framework of the development of the CAMINOS’ project, together with the next steps. Sustainability Plans were discussed for each pilot implemented under CAMINOS, different challenges were identified to make the pilots sustainable with the help of all partners working on the same subjects: Promotion, information systems, postgraduate studies and recognition.
