Are you interested to actively participate in the political life of your community? Do you want to destigmatize mental health? Apply to be a YOUTHWELL Advocate!
While mental health and democracy do not go hand in hand, they are deeply linked. People with mental health problems may feel disconnected from their local communities and lack the political optimism, energy, confidence, or interest needed to participate in democratic life.
YOUTHWELL aims to promote well-being, social inclusion, democratic participation and resilience, as well as networking among marginalised groups, youth workers, trainers, youth leaders and staff of youth organisations. The project will give young people the opportunity to take charge of their future, helping them to create initiatives and projects that promote mental health and active citizenship. With youth workers, youth groups and young people from all over Europe we will create a network of transcontinental collaboration!
Become a YOUTHWELL advocate
We are looking for 20 active young people (aged 18-30) across Spain to become Advocates of YOUTHWELL. As a YOUTHWELL Advocate, you will receive exclusive training on mental health, democracy, and active citizenship. You will organize local events in your city, where you will represent the project. Thanks to their unique training and with our support, their events will promote democracy and destigmatize mental health. You will become part of a large network of young people with similar interests across Europe.
The advocates will have the opportunity to participate in the European youth exchange: “Resilient and Democratic Youth” in Brussels, Belgium (6 – 8 May 2025), the “Mobility of Young Professionals for the Development of Joint Projects” in Barcelona, Spain (7 – 9 October 2025) and the final conference of YOUTHWELL in Nicosia, Cyprus (12 November 2025).
